Mina Lee
Co-founder


Mina is Co-founder of Social Labs. She is responsible for the company's overall strategic vision. Mina was a Startingbloc Social Innovation Institute Fellow. She engages in dialogue with socially minded peoples and organizations to ensure that Social Labs continues to execute relevant and easy-to-use systems and features to enable high impact social change.


Mina's background is in social network analysis, finance, and renewable energy technologies and policies. She has previously worked at Morgan Stanley and Vencon Management, a clean tech VC firm in NYC. She is currently engaged in renewable energy consulting at IHS Cambridge Energy Research Associates. She is driven by the desire to apply pragmatic business lessons to scaling and bringing about disruptive solutions to the most pressing social issues.

Christopher Lindstrom has spent the last six years of his life toward advancing the cause of building new economic and monetary systems.  He was a volunteer staff member for the E.F. Schumacher Society from 2003 to 2005.  While at the Society, he coordinated a 2004 seminal conference on Monetary Reform and Complementary Currencies that brought together 350 people from 17 countries.  He was also instrumental in raising the funds to launch "BerkShares," a local currency in the Berkshire region of Massachusetts that has been referenced hundreds of times in the international press including, ABC news, BBC, Russian and Japanese news, the Wall St. Journal, USA Today, and the New York Times.  He has helped establish the Fund for Complementary Currencies which has given over $500,000 to complementary currency programs through out North America.  He is currently organizing a conference for October of 2009 called the Economics of Peace and finishing his BA degree at Goddard College in Integral Economics.

Jason Franklin
Co-founder


Mr. Franklin has a background in urban policy and development, social justice philanthropy, public education reform, and nonprofit strategy and leadership. He serves as Deputy Director of the 21st Century School Fund (21CSF) and as a Lecturer on Public Administration and Doctoral Candidate at New York University. He previously managed the Rockefeller Foundation's Next Generation Leadership Network and has also worked for the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, White House Office of National AIDS Policy, Aspen Institute, and Oregon Commission on Children and Families. He is a serial social entrepreneur, co-founding Oregon Students Supporting Education, the Multnomah Youth Commission, and IAM LLC (an urban brownfield development planning firm that won the 2004 Goldman Sachs Global Social Venture Competition).  He serves on the boards of directors the North Star Fund (Treasurer), Bolder Giving, and Resource Generation and the advisory board of Wealth for the Common Good. He has an MS in Urban Policy and Nonprofit Management from the New School's Milano Graduate School and a BA in Political Communication from the George Washington University.

Alex Chang

Alex worked for the news aggregation platform, Daylife.com, where he helped develop algorithms used to analyze and determine top stories occurring in the news cycle.


Alex also served as lead social application developer for Daylife on platforms like Facebook. He was one of the first developers on the Facebook application platform, and plays a visible role in the Facebook application developer community. He has contributed code to a wide number of projects including Favorite Peeps, which grew to over 7 million users before being acquired by Slide, Inc.

Gianni Martire
Co-founder


Gianni is a young entrepreneur with successful startups in IT and finance. His primary responsibility within Social Labs is driving the product vision, assembling a passionate team to realize that vision and making sure people have fun while they're at it.


Prior to Social Labs, Gianni was a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch where he provided nonprofits with wealth management services to create and ensure sustainable long-term growth. Gianni currently serves on the boards for Bank of New Jersey, United Commerce, Hotlist Media and Arts Horizons (Secretary), an arts-in-education children’s charity that has influenced over 7.5 million children in the tri-state area.
